Flyers snap 10-game losing skid with win over Flames

Candice Ward / USA Today Sports

Finally.

For the first time since Nov. 9, the Philadelphia Flyers found the win column, earning a 5-2 decision over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night and snapping a 10-game losing streak in the process.

Philly's long-awaited victory was sparked by a three-goal outburst in a 71-second span in the second period, as well as a 43-save performance from goaltender Brian Elliott.

With things now pointed in the right direction, the Flyers will look to start a new streak of the right nature Wednesday in Edmonton.
