Senators' Mark Borowiecki: Ruled out Thursday

Borowiecki (lower body) will miss Game 7 against the Penguins on Thursday, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.

Make that 17 straight absences for the hard-hitting blueliner. This may be a blessing in disguise, though, as Borowiecki is an enforcer prone to racking up penalties, and the Senators don't seem to have a strong enough penalty kill to make up for any costly penalties in a game that'll determine whether they'll advance to the Stanley Cup Finals.
