Ville Leino feels like he was behind bars as a member of the Buffalo Sabres.

The former NHL forward expressed some strong opinions about his disappointing tenure with the club via a new hooded sweatshirt he designed for his fashion company, Billebeino, based on a painting called "Jail" he finished in 2013.

Leino was one of the first major acquisitions of Terry Pegula's ownership, signing a six-year, $27-million contract with the Sabres in July 2011.

He never lived up to the hefty deal, though, posting a mere 10 goals and 46 points in 137 games with the club over three seasons before being bought out.

If it's any consolation for Leino, his company appears to be doing well, with more than 20,000 Instagram followers and several NHLers - including P.K. Subban and Dustin Byfuglien - rocking threads he designed this season.
