Panthers' Nick Bjugstad: Will represent Team USA

Bjugstad will represent Team USA at the 2017 IIHF World Championship in Germany May 5-21, NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Bjugstad was a disappointment in Florida this season, managing just seven goals, 14 points and a dismal minus-19 rating over 54 games. It was a far cry from his average of just more than 38 points per game over the past three NHL campaigns. A broken hand set him back to start the season and he never seemed to be able to get on track.
