Flyers' Jordan Weal: Singlehandedly salvages win Tuesday
Weal scored the game-tying goal in the third period, then beat Craig Anderson a second time in the shootout Tuesday, delivering a 3-2 win over the Senators.
Analysis:
As the clock ticked down into the final six minutes with the Flyers down a goal, Anderson misplayed the puck behind his net and gave it up to Weal, who promptly buried it. The 24-year-old has been seeing his role increase in fits and starts; he played 15:49 in this one, which is plenty of time to generate fantasy-relevant offense. With eight points in 18 games this year, he's only useful in very deep formats right now, but Weal has been a prolific scorer in the minors, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him break out if he enjoys a consistent role next year.
