Blues' Zachary Sanford: Slides into top-six forward spot
Sanford moved up to the second line with Patrik Berglund and David Perron in Tuesday's game against the Avalanche, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Analysis:
The Blues were forced to juggle lines during the game when Paul Stastny (lower body) exited the game in the first period. Sanford shined as a top-six forward, notching a pair of assists. He could be a nice short-term sleeper if Stastny is forced to miss time and Sanford remains on the second line while also seeing power-play work.
