Sabres' Taylor Fedun: Placed on waivers
The Sabres waived Fedun on Saturday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports.
Analysis:
The Sabres have seven other healthy defensemen on their roster, so they're no longer in need of Fedun's services as a depth option. The veteran blueliner will likely be assigned to AHL Rochester if he isn't claimed by another NHL club off waivers.
