Athanasiou schools Ovechkin, scores beautiful goal

Andreas Athanasiou isn't yet on Alex Ovechkin's level, but even the greats can be bested from time to time.

The young Detroit Red Wings center took the Washington Capitals star for a skate Thursday night, then faked him out and fired a bullet past Braden Holtby to tie the game.

Athanasiou scored again on a power play less than three minutes later, giving him 13 goals this season.
