Bruins' Anton Blidh: Headed back to AHL
Blidh was sent back down to AHL Providence on Saturday, Mark Divver of the Providence Journal reports.
Analysis:
Blidh saw only four games and 10:25 of average ice time in his first stint with the Bruins before being demoted to make room for Noel Acciari and Danton Heinen. Despite the limited ice time, the 21-year-old rookie managed to get seven shots on goal and also notched his first NHL assist against the Capitals on Dec. 7. We wouldn't be surprised to see him return to the top level if an injury arises this season.
