Kings' Jeff Zatkoff: Will start in net Thursday
Zatkoff will tend the twine in Thursday's game against Carolina, Helene Elliott of the LA Times reports.
Analysis:
Zatkoff doesn't see the ice much, so it's hard to know exactly what to expect. He has stopped 43 of 44 shots in his last two appearances, but since they came nearly a month apart, it's hard to say he's on a hot streak. Fortunately for Zatkoff, he's facing a Carolina team that has scored two or fewer goals in four of its last five games.
