Kings' Teddy Purcell: Headed to AHL

Purcell cleared waivers and has been assigned to AHL Ontario, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.

Analysis:

Apparently no other team in the league was in need of Purcell's services and so he will remain with the Kings' organization for now. The 31-year-old winger hasn't found his niche in Los Angeles just yet and likely won't get the chance until at least one of his teammates gets injured.
