Wild's Zack Mitchell: Sent down to AHL Iowa

Mitchell was reassigned to the minors Monday.

Analysis:

After being called up from AHL Iowa in early November, Mitchell will end his stint in the majors as a healthy scratch in back-to-back outings. The 23-year-old barely contributed even when he was in the lineup, as he failed to record a point and averaged a meager 8:39 of ice time in his 10 appearances. The winger heads back to the minors where he has been equally unproductive with one goal in 11 outings.
