Hurricanes' Teuvo Teravainen: Shifts to center with Staal on IR

Teravainen has been moved to center to fill in for the injured Jordan Staal (concussion), the Raleigh News & Observer reports.

Analysis:

The move should not be a big adjustment for Teravainen, who played all three forward positions during his time in Chicago last season. That being said, despite a solid stretch in mid-November that saw him rack up seven points in five games, he has gone stone cold since then with zero points in his last six contests. So regardless of whether he's playing center or on the wing, we suggest you wait until Teravainen starts to show signs of breaking out of his current slump before picking him up.
