Hurricanes' Eddie Lack: Placed on injured reserve with concussion

Lack was moved to injured reserve Monday due to a concussion.

Analysis:

Lack suffered the concussion during Monday's practice session, but should be able to rejoin the team when healthy since he hasn't played in a game since Nov. 10. The team recalled Michael Leighton to back up Cam Ward for the time being, while Lack will need to clear concussion protocol before returning to the lineup.
