Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Done for 6-to-8 weeks
Zibanejad will miss the next 6-to-8 weeks with a broken fibula.
Analysis:
This is devastating news for the former Senator, who had been ripping it up lately with six points in his last six games and 15 in 19 contests this season. The diagnosis shouldn't be all that surprising to those who witnessed the grisly sight of his leg twisting and smashing into the boards in overtime of Sunday's matchup with the Panthers. Given his timetable, Zibanejad won't be able to return until the calendar flips to 2017 at the earliest, with a mid-January return date probably most likely.
