Devils' Vojtech Mozik: Called up from AHL Albany

Mozik was recalled from the minors Tuesday.

Analysis:

So far this season, the Devils have turned to Steve Santini as their seventh defender, but they appear to be going in a different direction with Mozik. Last season, the 23-year-old played in seven games for New Jersey, failing to record a point, though he did collect six shots on goal, four PIM and 12 hits. Barring a last-minute injury, Mozik will likely be a healthy scratch, so there's little need for fantasy owners to snatch him off the waiver wire.
