Bruins' Torey Krug: Healthy entering training camp
Krug has been cleared to participate in training camp, Caryn Swtiaj of NHL.com reports.
Analysis:
Krug, who underwent shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum in April, resumed skating in August and now appears near or at 100 percent. Bruins general manager Don Sweeney commented that the 25-year-old is "fully good to go" and will be "integrated into practice doing drills." Sweeney went on to say that the left-handed shooter will work in a modified contact situation as he ramps to full activity, but with the NHL season still three weeks out, it seems all but assured that Krug will play in Boston's season opener Oct. 13.
