Henrik Sedin replaces Zetterberg as Sweden World Cup captain
STOCKHOLM (AP) Henrik Sedin will replace the injured Henrik Zetterberg as Sweden's captain for the upcoming World Cup of Hockey.
Swedish team officials say his brother, Daniel Sedin, will be the assistant captain in the Sept. 17-Oct. 1 tournament in Toronto.
Zetterberg was ruled out because of a knee injury during off-ice training.
He has been replaced in Sweden's roster by Mikael Backlund of the Calgary Flames.
