Devils add Fiddler on 1-year, $1.25M deal

The New Jersey Devils have added a veteran presence, signing forward Vernon Fiddler to a one-year, $1.25-million contract, the team announced Friday.
The 36-year-old played the last five seasons with the Dallas Stars, recording 12 goals and 10 assists last year before adding a goal and two assists in the playoffs.
Fiddler joins former Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Ben Lovejoy as free-agent additions.
