Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Fantastic despite loss in Game 2
Vasilevskiy was terrific in defeat Monday, turning aside 38 of 41 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to Pittsburgh in Game 2.
Analysis:
What a performance by the backup netminder, who practically stood on his head while filling in for Ben Bishop (lower body) after he suffered an injury in Game 1. It remains to be seen how long Bishop will be sidelined, but given how great the 21-year-old Russian played on enemy ice in his first start of the postseason, the Bolts should have all the confidence they need to roll him out there again in Game 3 if necessary.
