The veteran defenseman missed the team's previous game on Thursday, as well, and his availability for the beginning of the postseason is currently up in the air. Girardi has never been one to fill scoresheets, but he has tallied full-season career-lows in goals (two) and points (17) in 2015-16. The Rangers will continue with their current defensive setup for the moment, but expect rookie Brady Skjei to exit the lineup when Girardi returns to health.
