P.K. Subban (neck) won't play in the last two games this season
Subban (neck) won't play in the last two games this season, Erik Engels of Sportsnet reports.
Analysis:
Subban was trying to work his way back from a neck injury sustained last month, stemming from an accidental collision with teammate Alexei Emelin. The silver lining here is that Subban is lauded for his disciplined work ethic and reportedly was training hard to get back on the ice, even though the Habs are out of the playoff picture and have just two games remaining on the schedule. This injury isn't likely to threaten his draft stock for next season. Subban remains a premier defenseman in "real life" and in fantasy leagues, having recorded six goals and 45 assists in 68 games this campaign. He also was a force on the man advantage as nearly half of his apples were delivered on the power play.
