Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu singled out one player as a catalyst in his recovery from a torn ACL suffered last December.
Mathieu was named a first-team All-Pro after a scintillating campaign, but stated that he's motivated by trying to elevate his game to Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt's level.
Watt captured Defensive Player of the Year honors for the third time last season.
The Texans' superstar responded promptly to Mathieu, imploring him to let out "the inner savage."
