Chiefs add depth with DL Chris Jones
Spruce Derden-USA TODAY Sports
The Kansas City Chiefs have selected defensive lineman Chris Jones out of Mississippi State in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Jones will add depth to one of the NFL's strongest defensive lines in 2015. The Chiefs ranked eighth in the league allowing just 98 yards per game on the ground, and were the ninth best unit overall.
After playing the defensive tackle position with Mississippi State, Jones will transition to the defensive end slot in the Chiefs' 3-4 scheme.
