The Oakland Raiders selected defensive end Shilique Calhoun out of Michigan State in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft on Friday, No. 75 overall.
Calhoun joins a highly explosive Raiders pass-rushing unit that already boasts former first-round picks Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin.
Calhoun needs refinement as a prospect, but he has the chance to mature into a key defensive piece for the improving Raiders.
