The Miami Dolphins traded back into the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, acquiring the 86th overall pick from the Minnesota Vikings to select Rutgers receiver Leonte Carroo.

In landing the day-two selection, Miami surrendered a sixth-round pick in this year's draft as well as third- and fourth-round picks in 2017.

Carroo steps into a crowded position group as a rookie. The willingness to give up multiple picks, however, appears to suggest the Dolphins are confident he can take on a role alongside Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker.
