C.J. Anderson confirms Adam Gase called him 'fat' in Denver
The Miami Dolphins signed Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson to a four-year offer sheet Thursday evening.
It's easy to draw the connection between Anderson and the Dolphins with the hiring of former Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase as head coach in Miami. But it may not be such a sweet relationship.
Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. hasn't been shy about sharing his thoughts on the list of former teammates leaving Denver in free agency, and he dropped some surprising knowledge about the recent Anderson report.
I swear it Gase that said Cj was fat 🤔🤔lol

Anderson was quick to respond.

Anderson is officially listed at 224 pounds and was reportedly trying to get his weight below 220 pounds before the 2015 season. Gase and Anderson worked together in Denver for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
Clearly this weight issue isn't something that's overly concerning to Gase and the Dolphins. The Broncos have five days to match Miam's offer or the "fat" back will be taking his talents to South Beach.
