Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin is known for being a tad angry - and using that to his advantage - on the field, but he showed a softer side Thursday night.
Baldwin found a stunning spot to propose to his girlfriend (though he did not share the location) and posted a photo to Twitter confirming she, in fact, did say yes.
The 27-year-old receiver sent out a series of cryptic tweets in the days before reading "Matthew 3:16," a reference to the date of his pending proposal. He also shared the Bible verse itself, which foreshadowed the scene.
