The New York Giants are hoping to re-sign a pair of pass-rushers in Jason Pierre-Paul and Robert Ayers, sources told Dan Graziano of ESPN.

The sources said Giants brass will meet with their respective agents this week at the NFL Scouting Combine in hopes of getting a deal in place ahead of free agency on March 9.

With the Giants ranking 30th in the league in sacks in 2015, pass-rushers are a priority for a franchise that won two Super Bowls with a dominant defensive line.

While Ayers is reportedly seeking a deal in the neighborhood of three years, $18 million, Pierre-Paul is an unknown due to lingering hand issues that limited him to just one sack in eight games last year.
