The Patriots have claimed Hankerson on waivers from the Falcons, the Boston Herald reports.

Analysis:

A hamstring injury derailed Hankerson's stint with the Falcons, but assuming he has moved past the issue, he'll provide the Patriots' wideout corps with some added depth and experience. Prior to landing on the Falcons' injured list, the 26-year-old Hankerson had recorded 26 catches for 327 yards and three touchdowns in eight contests for the team.
