Report: Chargers' Fluker suffered 2nd concussion in 5 days

by

San Diego Chargers guard D.J. Fluker emerged from Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs with his second concussion in a five-day span, reports Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Fluker was added to the injury report with a concussion following last Wednesday's team session, marking the third time in his three-year NFL career that he's suffered such an injury on the practice field.

The concussion sustained Sunday brings him to a known total of four since joining the Chargers as a first-round draft selection in 2013, putting his status for this week's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in question.

Fluker, who's started in all but one of San Diego's 10 regular-season games thus far, will again have to pass through the NFL's protocol before receiving clearance to make his return.
