Panthers' Norman: 'I was The Dark Knight' in win vs. Colts
Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman carried the Halloween spirit into his team's victory Monday night over the Indianapolis Colts.
Norman excelled against the Colts, compiling a few critical pass deflections during the fourth quarter.
With torrential rain pouring down for the vast majority of the game, Norman compared himself to a famous superhero.
"I was the Dark Knight today - I was Batman. ... Had to come in and save a couple people," Norman said via the Black and Blue Review.
Norman recorded four tackles as the Panthers remain unbeaten at the halfway mark of the season.
"It felt like Gotham City," Norman said. "It was dark. It was rainy. It was misty. You had to come out of there and hit, fly around. You got a couple of bad guys out there you had defending. We're just flying around, soaring in the air, and having fun."
In staying with the superhero theme, Cam Newton compared Luke Kuechly to Captain America following the victory. Perhaps another Marvel versus DC rivalry is in the works.
