September was a monumental month for the NFL off the field.
For the first time since 2009, the league managed to go a full calendar month without a player being arrested, as noted by Mike Rosenberg of the San Jose Mercury News.

There have been a reported 33 player arrests so far this year, the last of which came on Aug. 26, according to the Mercury News' NFL Arrests Database.
