Antonio Gates becomes 2nd tight end ever to catch 100 TD passes

San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates caught the 100th and 101st touchdowns of his career during Monday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Gates becomes the second tight end (and ninth player) in NFL history to catch 100 touchdown passes. With 101 TD grabs, Gates now sits seventh all-time.
The future Hall of Famer joins an exclusive list of eight other players to catch triple-digit touchdowns. The feat further cements Gates' standing as one of the greatest to play the game.
Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, Cris Carter, Marvin Harrison, Tony Gonzalez, Steve Largent and Tim Brown are the other players on the list.
Gates would need 10 more TDs to equal Tony Gonzalez and could set a new mark among tight ends if he continues to produce at a high level.
