Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones won't face a suspension for an on-field altercation in a Week 1 matchup with the Oakland Raiders, the NFL confirmed Monday.

Jones was penalized for a play in which he was seen forcibly pushing rookie receiver Amari Cooper's head back into his dislodged helmet.

The veteran cornerback could still receive a fine at some point this week, but he should be available to play in next Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers.
