The Houston Texans may have running back Arian Foster back in time for their Week 3 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Foster is progressing well in his recovery from groin surgery and the hope is that he'll return by late September or early October at the latest, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Wilson previously reported that Foster could return to the field four-to-six weeks after the start of the season.
Foster rushed for a team-high 1,246 yards and eight touchdowns on 260 carries last season despite missing three games due to injury.
