Report: Seahawks' Robert Turbin to be waived with injury designation

Seattle Seahawks running back Robert Turbin will be waived with an injury designation, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Turbin was being groomed as Marshawn Lynch's successor, but became expendable when the team agreed to a one-year deal with Fred Jackson on Friday.
The 25-year-old is expected to miss five weeks with an ankle injury, according to Rapoport.
Turbin rushed for 310 yards last season, adding 186 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The Utah State product was part of the Seahawks' vaunted 2012 draft class, alongside collegiate teammate Bobby Wagner and quarterback Russell Wilson.
