Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans left Monday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a hamstring injury.

Evans injured his hamstring in the first quarter and did not return. However, it was reported that Evans was held out as a precautionary measure, according to NFL Network's Rand Getlin.

The Buccaneers star was targeted twice but did not record a catch prior to leaving the game.

"I felt it stiffen up a little. I thought it'd be best to just chill out. I'm going to get it evaluated," Evans said postgame, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
