Buffalo Bills wide receiver Marquise Goodwin made his return to track and field earlier this summer, and it was announced Monday that he'll be competing in long jump at the upcoming Pan American Games.

The competition begins in Toronto on July 10, with qualifying for the men's long jump slated to begin on July 21, and the final on the following day.

Goodwin finished fourth in the event at last month's U.S. Track and Field Championships, failing to qualify for the IAAF World Championships.

Nominally listed as a wide receiver, Goodwin is used primarily on special teams with the Bills due to his blazing straight-line speed. In two seasons, he recorded 18 catches for 325 yards and three touchdowns.
