Terrelle Pryor's workout with the Cincinnati Bengals must have gone well.

The Bengals announced Sunday they've signed the 25-year-old quarterback to a contract, along with tight end John Peters, defensive tackle Kalafitoni Pole, safety Erick Dargan and wide receiver Mario Alford. The team also released tight end Kevin Brock.

Pryor joins a familiar situation in Cincinnati, having played for Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson during his first season in the NFL. He will likely compete for a backup job with the Bengals, as he's made it clear he has no desire to switch positions.

In 16 career games (all with the Oakland Raiders), Pryor has completed 170 of 302 passes for 1,953 yards with nine touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
