The Miami Dolphins made a second addition to their secondary in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft, selecting safety Cedric Thompson out of Minnesota with the 150th overall pick.
A productive college defender, Thompson's well-rounded skill set gives him the ability to play either of the two safety positions at the next level.
Thompson should step into a reserve and special teams role as a rookie before potentially competing for a starting position down the road.
