The New Orleans Saints are hosting defensive end/tackle Corey Wootton on Wednesday, according to Katherine Terrell of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Wootton recorded 16 tackles and a sack in his lone season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2014.
The 27-year-old free agent spent the first four seasons of his career with the Chicago Bears.
If he signs with the Saints, Wootton will aim to improve a pass rush that recorded a mere 34 sacks in 2014, the 25th-best total in the league.
