The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed punter Andrew Wilder on Friday.
Wilder is expected to challenge incumbent starter Michael Koenen for a spot on the 53-man roster.
Koenen's 40.4-yard punting average was the worst total among all starters last season.
Wilder did not suit up for a club last year but excelled during his college career at Northern Arizona.
