The Seattle Seahawks signed nose tackle Ahtyba Rubin on Friday, beefing up their defensive line.
Rubin agreed on a one-year contract Thursday, according to multiple reports.
The 28-year-old played in 13 games last season, making 28 tackles. However, he was playing through injury for much of 2014 and was a formidable player for the Browns in the middle when healthy.
As a full-time starter in 2010 and 2011, Rubin had more than 80 tackles in both campaigns.
The veteran defensive tackle should help Seattle's run defense and fill the void left by Kevin Williams.
