Report: Saints sign Mark Ingram to 4-year deal worth $16M

The New Orleans Saints have signed running back Mark Ingram to a four-year deal, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The deal is worth $16 million, according to multiple reports.
Ingram finally lived up to his potential in 2014, rushing for 964 yards and nine touchdowns in 13 games.
The cash-strapped Saints decided to move on from running back Pierre Thomas last week, so keeping Ingram makes sense.
Drafted 28th overall out of Alabama by the Saints in 2011, the former Heisman Trophy winner has totaled 2,426 yards and 20 touchdowns during his four-year career.
