Rivers signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys on Wednesday, the National Football Post reports.
Analysis:
The Bengals selected Rivers with the ninth pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, and he responded with 70-tackle campaigns in his second and third season. However, prior to the fourth, he underwent wrist surgery and missed all of 2011. He was subsequently traded to the Giants prior to the 2012 campaign and signed with the Bills last offseason. After tallying 16 tackles in 12 games in 2014, he'll merely provide linebacker depth for the Cowboys.
