The Detroit Lions re-signed backup quarterback Dan Orlovsky to a one-year deal, the team announced Monday.

Orlovsky signed a one-year deal last season, but did not take any snaps with the club.

The 31-year-old last took snaps for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he's firmly entrenched as the Lions' No. 2 quarterback behind incumbent starter Matthew Stafford
