There's no way to be certain whether or not the Green Bay Packers will choose to test Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman in Sunday's NFC Championship Game, but he remains ready for any opportunities that come to his side of the field.

"I'm not surprised either way," Sherman said, according to USA Today's Jim Corbett. "But I expect them to execute their game plan, whatever that may be. I don't really have a gut feeling about how it's going to go."

While the Packers completely avoided Sherman in the 2014 regular-season opener, they've stressed that such a strategy isn't in the plans again this week.

"It just depends on who's open," Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said. "It's always important to throw it to the right and throw it to the left a little bit."

After the Packers were handed a 36-16 loss in their other meeting with the Seahawks, it's clear they'll have to do something different to pull off the upset this time around.

Though a willingness to test all areas of the Seahawks' defense will be a key adjustment, expect Green Bay to be careful when it comes to going after Sherman.

Elected a first-team All-Pro for the third consecutive season, Sherman has long proven himself capable of making game-changing plays when given the opportunity.
