New York Jets center Nick Mangold expects to play in Week 17 despite being carted off the field during Sunday's game against the New England Patriots with an ankle injury, he told the New York Post.
Mangold was on crutches and wearing a boot on his injured left leg after the game, but said his ankle is not broken, and that he expects to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
"We’ll find out, but I wouldn't see why not," Mangold said. "I've dealt with issues like this before. I should be out there."
The nine-year veteran suffered the injury when Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork fell on his ankle.
