VIDEO: Dolphins edge Vikings on last-minute blocked punt for safety

Special teams came up huge for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon, as defensive end Terrence Fede blocked a Jeff Locke punt for a safety in the final minute of the game to secure a 37-35 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
The Dolphins improve to 8-7 with the win, but are officially eliminated from playoff contention as a result of the Pittsburgh Steelers' victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Vikings, meanwhile, fall to 6-9.

- Matt Asiata had a big game for the Vikings, rushing for 58 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 16 carries.
- Dolphins rookie wide receiver Jarvis Landry had eight catches for 31 yards, passing Terry Kirby for the most receptions by a rookie in franchise history with 76. He also made a crucial mistake, though, setting up a Vikings touchdown run after fumbling the ball late in the fourth quarter.
- Fellow Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace had a solid afternoon, catching five passes for 58 yards and two touchdowns.
- Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway left the game in the third quarter with a knee injury and did not return.
